Joint ownership with spouse — pros and cons?

My wife and I are buying a property together. Should we register it as joint ownership? What are the tax implications and what happens in case of inheritance?

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done joint ownership.

This happened to my friend too. He ended up losing money because he didn’t do proper due diligence.
