Solar panel installation for rooftop — worth it?

With electricity prices going up, I’m thinking about installing solar panels on my building’s rooftop. Has anyone done this in Bangladesh?

I want to know about: costs, government subsidies, payback period, and maintenance requirements.

Adding to this — make sure you check the building’s fire safety compliance. Many buildings in Dhaka don’t meet standards.
