Dhanmondi vs Gulshan — which is better for families?

We’re a family of 4 deciding between Dhanmondi and Gulshan for our next home. Budget is around 1.5-2 crore for a 3-bed apartment.

Parents with kids — which area do you prefer and why? Schools, parks, safety, and general livability are our priorities.

Adding to this — make sure you check the building’s fire safety compliance. Many buildings in Dhaka don’t meet standards.

Good points but I think you missed one important factor: the quality of construction varies HUGELY between developers.
