Honda SP 160 Features Review
Honda is a global leading motorcycle manufacturing brand over the last decades, successfully established itself as the most prominent brand in the automobile industry. Honda has been introducing top-notch motorcycles one after another and all these motorcycles are well appreciated by riders all over the world. Honda’s Hornet, X-Blade, CBR, Livo, SP are the most prominent brands, Honda’s SP series was famous in the commuter segment because of its latest features and technology. Honda took an infinitive to upgrade SP as a result Honda SP 160 has been developed.
Honda SP 160 is an impressive bike blended with the sporty look and convenience of a daily commuter bike. Honda SP 160 features all advanced technology and equipment, similarly it has the appeal of a muscular naked sport bike. Honda adopted ABS braking in its double-disc variant for better traction and grip for balanced and confident braking. Its rear mono shock suspension is more efficient in cornering and centering of gravity to increase the stability of handling. Honda SP 160 is also one step forward in providing better fuel economy, it might be recommended for people of all walks.
Looks and Design:Â Honda SP 160 is an embodiment of robust power and aggressive, although it has been kept as compact as a daily commuter bike its sporty graphics and muscular add high end sporty feel. The aggressive headlap enhances its premium look, the bold LED tail lamp reminds any of a supersport bike. The aerodynamics body shape and aesthetic graphic lining simply a benchmark of Honda SP 160, this bike is an upgraded version of Honda’s renowned SP series so it doesn’t fall from the legacy but is impressively upgraded boundless which is super in a word.
Engine performance: Honda SP 160 houses a 162.71 cc, 4 Stroke, BS-VI single-cylinder air-cooled engine featuring a PGM-FI system intended to an exhilarating riding experience. The robust engine mated with 5-speed transmission generates 12.9 PS (9.47 Kw) @7500 RPM of maximum power and 14 Nm @5500 RPM of maximum torque. Honda SP 160 is not only confined to superior power production but also provides impressive fuel efficiency, because the PGM-FI system optimizes fuel supply and mitigates fuel consumption. Likewise, the SP 160 can reach approximately 115 km/h top speed with ease.
Dimension and seating position:Â Honda SP 160 has been designed with a compact and convenient dimension for comfortable riding. Its long comfortable seat gives a better riding riding experience for both rider and pillion. On the other hand its long wheelbase and proper ground clearance are suitable to ride on any road condition. Honda SP 160 has a muscular fuel tank that can contain 12 liters of fuel ensuring seamless riding and getting rid of frequent refueling.
Suspension & Brakes:Â Honda SP 160 is supported by front telescopic and adjustable mono-shock rear suspension making a smother bridge between the stricter and road surface. This suspension setup absorbs every sign jerk even on bumpy off-road and gives a smooth and comfortable riding experience. In the braking segment, Honda SP 160 has single-disc and double-disc variants, the double-disc variant mated with ABS braking system.
Mileage:Â It is claimed that Honda SP 160 average mileage is approximately 45 km/l but it depends on several factors. But we may assure you that on the highway the SP 160 delivers 42-45 km/l in city drive may fluctuate a little bit.
Instrumental Panel & Features:Â Honda SP 160 comes with a bunch of the latest features and technology, its fully digital meter console is equipped with features like service due indicator, clock, gear position indicator, fuel indicator and mileage indicators most crying need for daily ride, probably the side stand indicator is one of the most essential features nowadays. Moreover, Honda SP 160 has LED headlap which is more luminous to prove crystal clear visual at night.

The headlight visibility is low. The pillion has no ladies’ handle so it will be difficult for a family trip. Mudguard is too worthless if it rains the pillion is washed in mud. The gear shift is not at all good.

It is smooth in riding. Suspension is superb. Mileage is excellent in its segment. It is giving me 54 km/l in the city. Over the look is sporty. The tank is big.
