What are your thoughts on investing in property vs. stock market?

I have some savings and I’m torn between investing in a small property or putting the money in the stock market. Property seems safer but requires more capital upfront.

What are your experiences? Has anyone done both and can compare the returns?

The prices you mentioned seem a bit high. I’ve seen slightly lower rates in the same area recently.
